A set of markers in four steps
- List your plants. One per line. Add a | for a smaller second line, like Tomato | Cherry.
- Pick a shape. A label on a pointed stake, a rounded or leaf-shaped top, an arrow flag, a T-sign, a pot-rim clip or a hanging tag.
- Style the text. Choose from 11 fonts, size, capitals, an icon, and raised, inlaid, engraved or cut-through letters.
- Download and print. Every marker comes laid out on your bed. The 3MF keeps the text as its own object for a second colour.
Settings that work
Two colours, one nozzle
With raised text, add a filament change at the height shown under the preview. The markers print in one colour and the letters in another.
Outdoors
PETG and ASA handle sun and rain for seasons. PLA works for a season but softens in hot sun and on dark colours.
Strong stakes
Keep the stiffening rib on and print stakes flat. A 2.4 mm marker with a rib pushes into firm soil without snapping.
Plant markers FAQ
How many markers can I make at once?
Up to 30. They are laid out in rows to fit the printer you pick, and if they don't fit you'll see a warning.
How do I print two colours without a multi-material printer?
Choose raised text. The generator shows the height of the first text layer; add a pause or filament change (M600) there in your slicer and swap filament.
What does inlaid text need?
Inlaid text sits flush in the marker, so it needs a printer that can switch colours mid-layer, like a Bambu AMS, Prusa MMU or a tool changer. The 3MF keeps it as its own object.
Will they last outside?
Printed in PETG or ASA, yes, for several seasons. Engraved or cut-through text never peels off, which helps too.
Can I make tags for gifts or pots instead?
Yes. Pick Hanging tag or Pot-rim clip. The clip is sized to the thickness of your pot wall.
