Settings that work for Gridfinity
Bins
0.2 mm layers, 2–3 walls, 15 % infill. Leave detect thin walls on so the stacking lip prints solid. No supports: every overhang here is 45° or less.
Baseplates
Print flat, no brim unless your bed struggles. Big plates warp at the corners; PETG or a 5 mm mouse-ear helps. Too big for the bed? Use the Drawer fitter tab.
Magnets
6 × 2 mm neodymium discs, 6.5 mm holes, glued in. Or switch on crush ribs for a press fit, or a print-in cover and add a pause at the height the generator gives you.

Gridfinity generator FAQ
Will these fit bins and baseplates from other generators?
Yes. The grid, base profile and magnet positions follow Zack Freedman’s Gridfinity spec, so these bins sit in any standard baseplate and standard bins sit in these plates. If your printer runs tight, raise Clearance per side under Advanced.
Why are the STLs “watertight”, and why should I care?
Every model is built with real boolean geometry (the Manifold engine), so each file is one closed, valid solid. Slicers never have to guess, repair tools find nothing to fix, and label text and magnet holes come out exactly as drawn.
How do I make a baseplate bigger than my print bed?
Open the Drawer fitter tab, enter the drawer’s inside size and pick your printer. It works out the grid, spreads the leftover space as padding, splits the plate into pieces that fit your bed, and adds bow-tie clips to lock them together. You get every piece in one zip.
What do the half units do?
A half unit is 21 mm. Use it to fill the last gap in a drawer, or for narrow bins. Half-grid feet let a bin sit at a half-cell offset on a half-grid baseplate.

Yes. Files you generate here are yours to print, modify and sell. Gridfinity itself is an open standard created by Zack Freedman. Please credit it.
